Message Board

UMD Facilities Management has teamed with the Boys and Girls Club of the Northland to bring a Punt, Pass and Kick competition to Duluth. Punt, Pass and Kick is a national event held every year and is sponsored by the National Football League (NFL).

The NFL Punt, Pass and Kick football competition allows youngsters to showcase their talents in punting, passing and kicking with scores based on distance and accuracy. The competition is open to boys and girls ages 8-15 and is free for all competitors. Age groups are 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15 year old both boys and girls. Groupings are determined by the child's age as of December 31, 2009.

The top finishers from each of the eight age groups at this local competition will advance to a Sectional competition. The winners at the Sectional Competition will have their scores compared to other Sectional champions; the top five scorers will advance to the Minnesota Vikings Team Championship to be held during a Minnesota Vikings game this fall.
