Online Learning

UMD is pleased to offer the flexibility of online learning to provide additional course offerings for our students. We currently offer courses in these formats:

• Internet-Delivered: completely online
  • Cohort: Course has set beginning and end dates that follow the regular term
  • Self-paced: Course has flexible beginning and end dates allowing a student 16 weeks to complete the course; also known as Individualized Instruction (INI)
• Partially Internet-delivered: hybrid courses meet in a classroom and have additional online content

Online Courses

UMD offers online courses in a variety of subjects. Currently, you can search for courses by using the online class search.

• Class Search
  • When you use the Class Search tool, select 'Internet-delivered and Partially Internet-delivered' or 'INI Courses Only' within the 'Course Type' section.
