QuickCare Clinic offers convenient, fast health care QuickCare is a clinic for UMD employees, spouses/same-sex domestic partners, and dependent children. CONVENIENT: No appointment needed, free parking, on campus. FAST : usually in and out in less than 15 minutes AFFORDABLE: $5 copay per visit and no copay ever for immunizations Clinic Hours During academic year, QuickCare is open 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. QuickCare is closed on employee holidays. Copays QuickCare is an in-network provider for all UPlan medical program options, and no referrals are needed. If you are a UPlan member, your copayment is $5 per QuickCare visit for treatments and screenings. There is no copayment for immunizations. When you arrive at the clinic, show the nurse practitioner your UPlan card to verify that you are an active participant in one of the UPlan medical options. Employees and dependents who are not UPlan participants can still receive services at QuickCare, but you will need to pay the full cost of care, and then submit the bill to your own insurance company.

QuickCare Services

QuickCare clinic provides services for a wide variety of conditions, including but not limited to: common illnesses, screening tests, skin conditions, and vaccines. If you have a question regarding services for a particular condition, please call the Quick Care staff directly at 726-8666. While we are able to provide services for many common ailments, we are not equipped to address chronic health conditions or severe symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, or injuries likely to require an x-ray. These conditions are best addressed by urgent/emergency care or your primary care physician.

Health Screenings is available at no charge for UPlan members. Cholest-tec and glucose screening (including four elements of cholesterol - HDL, LDL, triglycerides, total cholesterol) will be conducted. Appointment is necessary as it requires a 12-hour fasting.

QuickCare Prescriptions

QuickCare has a limited dispensary for many of the common prescriptions used. If a prescription is necessary for your QuickCare visit that we do not have, it may be filled at the pharmacy of your choice.
