Outstanding Service Awards (OSA)

Outstanding Service Awards (Continuous Service and Project Award) have been developed to recognize the outstanding contributions of employees in the following job classifications:

• Civil Service (non-bargaining) employees
• AFSCME employees
• TEAMSTER employees
• Academic Professional and Administrative (P&A) employees who do not hold faculty rank. (Employees holding faculty rank are eligible for other monetary awards.)

Important Dates

Friday, December 5, 2008, 9:30 a.m.: Deadline in submitting a Nomination Form

Monday, March 23, 2009: Names of awardees will be announced campus-wide

Thursday, April 9, 2009: Awards Ceremony, Kirby Student Center Ballroom, 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Nomination Process:

Step 1. Read the Nomination Procedures first before filling out the Nomination Form. This will ensure that you are familiar with the process and the employee you plan to nominate is eligible.

Step 2. Fill out/print the Nomination Form and route for signatures in your department/unit.
